Quick Start Guide
First Things First
Remove your RaDoTech device from its packaging.
The cable RaDoTech comes with is for charging ONLY, and fits into the built in micro USB charging port. You can use regular USB wall chargers or connect it to your computer. When the charge is complete the light indicator near the power button will glow green.
Each RaDoTech should come charged so you can start using it right away.
The RaDoTech Application:
Both iOS and Android* devices are compatible with RaDoTech. You can download application directly from Apple's App Store or from Google Play - just search for RaDoTech.
*For Android devices you will need to make sure 'Location Settings' are turned on.
Create your profile:
Follow the instructions on the App and create your profile. Remember, the more accurate you are with the information you provide when setting up your profile the more accurate RaDoTech's suggestions and recommendations will be.
Run Your First SCAN:
In your RaDoTech App select "Measure Now" and follow the prompts.
- Before you start measuring with RaDoTech please take off all your metal accessories and jewelry, peircings, glasses,watches, fitness trackers etc.
- Moisturize the areas you will be scanning with tap water using the provided spray bottle.
- Turn your device on by briefly holding down the power button.
- The App will prompt you to connect with the device via Bluetooth. Accept this.
- Click "Start Metering".
- Hold your device firmly, from the middle using an overhand grip for best results.
- Follow the visual guide on the App for placement of the devices electrode and hold it in place until each scan is complete.
- Fill out your notes.
- You've now completed your first scan!
Best practices for When to measure:
There are 3 modes of measurements.
- General health tracking and monitoring
- Tracking in a specific situation
- Tracking the difference before and after something (sports, food, sleep, nap, walk, flight and so on)
In any case it is best to have your base state recorded for that day. Base state of your body is when you just wake up, you can take that short trip to toilet and back - just don't brush your teeth yet and don't drink water. Do your measurements with RaDoTech and then you are free to go by your normal morning plan. Basis state will give you understanding how you started your day, what is your basis for that day. And also you can get some idea on how your body slept that night…
For normal health tracking measurements best to do 2 tests, one in active state (right in the middle of your average daily tasks, no special preparations), and second test in 10 minutes after first one, but you have to sit still or lay down and relax, close eyes and don't talk. Your body will calm down and when taking second measurements you will be in other functional state - in calm. Difference between results of this 2 tests will give you hint in which state your body feels better and what you really should do - be more active or more calm. Measurements should be taken 1.5 - 2 hours after your meal, for optimal results in this mode.
If you are tracking a specific situation, like before and after GYM, or before and after sleep, nap, work, short walk, dinner and so on, you should take measurements right before and right after for more precise and accurate results. Remember - we are measuring functional parameters, they are change as state of your body changes. For general health tracking it is not important, but for tracking and exploring reactions of your body in specific situations it is important.
How to understand your results:
In any system can be found weak spot or weak link (like in a chain), and all system as strong as strong weakest spot / link. In our body there are 2 things we have to care most about with RaDoTech metrics - most active organ and organ in consistent most insufficiency. What they tells us - organ with most insufficiency is weakest link in our health chain, while organ that in in most active state is that guy that does work for himself and for that “other guy”, in other words your body compensating poor work of one organ by overloading other with extra work. Organ with consistent lowest metrics should be taken care of at first, and only when it gets better you should care about all others, since all picture could change. Organ in most active state should be supported, in order for him to be able to continue working that “late hours” doing his job and job for others while they taking “days off”.
What to do next:
Now you have metrics of your organs and can see who is overactive and who in insufficiency. You should monitor and take actions about your single organ that is showing most insufficiency (has lowest metrics), and support most active organ so it can continue to do his work in order that your all body could be compensated. How? There a few ways: you can visit your doctor and ask for extra tests specifically for you weakest organ, you can adapt your diet and you can use food supplements. In any case, if you are observing consistent low results on same organ for a while you should consult with specialist on that matter.
How to compare your scans:
When you have enough of tests done you would like to compare them and your functional health state in different situations or dates. For that you can go to “history” in menu and activate comparing mode by clicking on a button on top right of your screen in RaDoTech application. In that mode you can pick up to 3 tests to be show on your screen side by side.You should compare tests of same profile and best to compare tests done during the day (like your basis, active and calm state), or tests done before / after explored situation, done in same situation / time for a few days.
How to Create profiles for Friends and family:
For those times when you would like to track health of your loved ones and family members there is extra 4 profiles you can create. For that go to settings and in profiles, add profile. Application will ask you which profile to use every time before you take measurements.
